Course Synopsis
As the number of baby boomers increases, so does the number of patients who are missing teeth. In fact, it is estimated that more than 36 million patients in the U.S. have lost their teeth. Because of this, there is great potential for dental clinicians to expand the scope of their services offered to patients by incorporating dental implant placement and restoration into their practice. Doing this enables clinicians to perform simple, predictable and affordable procedures that not only assist in increasing revenue for their practice, but also fulfill patients' functional and esthetic needs. This course seeks to teach valuable skills and techniques to make your practice prosper even in today's economy!

Course Objectives
After completing this course, the dental professional should be able to:

Understand a simplified technique for atraumatic extractions and grafting
Combine extractions, grafting and implant placement into one visit
Place temporaries that look and function like real teeth
Understand a simplified approach to natural-looking dentures

About Dr. Patel
Dr. Patel is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Dentistry and the Medical College of Georgia/American Academy of Implant Dentistry Maxi-Course. He is co-founder of the American Academy of Small Diameter Implants and a clinical instructor at the Reconstructive Dentistry Institute. Dr. Patel has placed more than 2,500 small-diameter implants, and has worked as a lecturer and clinical consultant on mini-implants for various companies. About Dr. Nazarian
Dr. Ara Nazarian maintains a private practice in Troy, Mich., with an emphasis on comprehensive and restorative care. He is the director of the Reconstructive Dentistry Institute, a Diplomate of the ICOI, and has conducted lectures and hands-on workshops on esthetic materials and dental implants throughout the U.S., Europe, New Zealand and Australia. Dr. Nazarian is also the creator of the DemoDent patient education model system. His articles have been published in many of today's popular dental publications.
