| Dr. Parish P. Sedghizadeh is Director of the University of Southern California Center for Biofilms and assistant professor of Clinical Dentistry. He received his undergraduate degree in biology from UCLA, and went on to receive his dental degree from USC. After his doctorate, he pursued specialty training in Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology at Ohio State University, where he also attained a Master of Science degree in oral biology and Fellowship status in the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology. He was also awarded Fellowship in the American Cancer Society for conducting research at the Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Richard J. Solove Research Institute, investigating the early molecular events involved in the progression of head and neck cancer. Dr. Sedghizadeh is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology, and he con- ducts research, publishes, consults and teaches in this capacity. |
