Robert began his career in dental technology in 1973 and received his Dental Technology degree from Albrecht Dürer College in Düsseldorf, Germany, in 1977. After serving in the German Air Force from 1977 to 1979, Robert promptly returned to work as a CDT in various German dental laboratories. He joined Glidewell Laboratories in 1986 and helped establish the BioTemps Department, which focuses on creating highly esthetic provisional restorations. In 2002, Robert became president of BDL Prosthetics, a comprehensive fixed ceramics lab, where he currently leads 350 employees.
