For adequate retention, a full complement of teeth is needed. -
Figure #2Evaluate the patient's biting motion. Also check the patient's ability to reach anteriorization of the mandible. Both will determine if Silent Nite can be used. -
Figure #3Using proper water-to-powder ratio and impression trays, take a full alginate impression of the upper and lower arches. -
Figure #4Using the proper powder-to-water ratio, pour alginate impressions immediately using yellow or die stone. Send the models, along with your prescription, to the lab. -
Figure #5DELIVERY APPOINTMENT: When the Silent Nite is returned, explain to the patient how the device works and how to clean it for long-term use. -
