NobelGuide™ Surgery System
|
-
Introduction
This case study is presented using the prescribed guided system NobelGuide. Figure #1 The Radiographic Guide appliance sets the standard for the entire case. It is utilized during your patient's CT scan. It shows the proper tooth position during the virtual planning and is the basis for the fabrication of the Surgical Guide. The Radiographic Index (bite registration) holds the Radiographic Guide in place during the patient's scan.
-
Step #2
Send us the DICOM files with your digital Rx and we will plan the case based on your prescription. We can also review your plan if you have the NobelGuide™ software.
-
Step #3
Once we have approval of the digital plan, we can order the Surgical Template as well as fabricate the Surgical Index for your case.
-
Step #4
The NobelGuide™ package includes the appliance you will need for the CT scan (Radiographic Guide), your virtual plan and your Surgical Template/Surgical Index.
-
Step #5
The master cast can be fabricated utilizing your Surgical Template. You will have your final model, without having to take impressions, before the implants are placed! The master cast can be used to fabricate your temporary or definitive prosthesis. Otherwise, standard implant impressions can be taken and the prosthesis fabricated at a later date.
-
Step #6
If you are planning to immediately load your case, we can provide your provisional restoration.
-
Step #7
When appropriate, Glidewell Dental Lab can fabricate your definitive prosthesis.
