BruxZir® Coloring Liquid Kit

Introduction
Coloring BruxZir crowns and bridges is fast and easy with BruxZir Coloring Liquid. BruxZir's unique Coloring Liquid solution is designed to provide the proper intensity in just five minutes. There is no risk of oversaturation should the units stay in the solution over the recommended time span.
Figure #1 Designed and milled using CAD/CAM Technology, BruxZir is made of solid zirconia with no porcelain overlay. As a result, this monolithic material is extremely durable.

Milled BruxZir restorations should undergo proper cleaning and preparation methods outlined in our Technical Update to achieve enhanced esthetic results. This method begins with the use of an ultrasonic bath to clean the milled block. Crowns are then cut from the block, grouped by their designated shade, and bathed again, helping to remove all of the fine particles from the crown surface. After drying these restorations first in a microwave and then beneath a heat lamp, they are ready for coloring.

Load BruxZir crowns into the Coloring Liquid of the corresponding shade.

The units and Coloring Liquid are then placed into a vaccum unit for 5 minutes.

After the dipping step, the units are removed from the Coloring Liquid and placed onto a clean surface.

Finally, our BruxZir restorations are sintered in an oven. Avoid excessive adjustment after sintering to avoid cracks.
-
Figure #7
The staining technique for BruxZir crowns and bridges is virtually identical to the method used to stain a PFM crown or bridge.
-
Figure #8
Due to the relatively high value and high opacity of the BruxZir material, lighter shades usually require only minor adjustment, while darker shades may need to be stained a full shade darker to achieve the desired final shade.
-
Figure #9
The surface of BruxZir crowns are so smooth that paste stains are required to achieve the best esthetics.
-
Figure #10
The final BruxZir crowns emerge with chip-proof durability. The glazed smooth surface of the final BruxZir restoration prevents plaque buildup and opposing dentition wear. While BruxZir is "more brawn than beauty," you'll be impressed by it's esthetics when prescribed instead of metal occlusal PFMs or full-cast restorations.
