An ultra-hydrophilic vinylpolysiloxane formulation, Capture® PVS impression material is used in our lab as duplication material. The contrasting colors of the light and medium to heavy or putty viscosities provide quick visual inspection of the marginal detail. There are light, medium, heavy, putty, hard bite and clear bite viscosities for crown and bridge impressions. Monophase is ideal for full and partial denture impressions. All are available in two oral set times. The crown set material has a two-minute oral set time and is used for one or two preparations. The bridge set material has a three-minute oral set time and is suitable for three or more preparations. Capture also offers two bite registrations: hard bite and transparent clear bite. Standard and special tray adhesives are available for plastic or custom trays.
