Sprues can now be detached from the restorations with a diamond disc and mandrel.

Using water, keep the restorations wet during sprue removal and grinding. Reduce the sprue ends.

The unfinished restorations are now ready to be contoured. After establishing contact and occlusion, the final contours can be adjusted.
