TECHNICAL NOTES
Models are duplicated and prepared according to the doctor’s specifications or the amount of reduction recommended for the type of restoration prescribed. Using various shades of wax, a technician will create a single crown, bridges or veneers. A stent or putty matrix is made of the Wax-up so that the doctor can use it to create temporaries in the office.
