3M™ ESPE™ Lava™ is an all-ceramic restoration with a zirconium oxide understructure that offers superb fit, marginal integrity and translucency. Lava is a well-respected name in dentistry due to its more than 10 years of proven clinical excellence. The Lava frame zirconia understructure is made utilizing CAD/CAM technology. After sintering, the Lava coping will offer high strength and fracture resistance. In fact, Lava is strong enough to withstand stresses many times greater than those that occur in patients' mouths.
We also offer full-contour digital Lava DVS restorations. Lava DVS delivers consistent strength, optimized fit and excellent esthetics. Lava DVS is more esthetic than single-layer pressed ceramics due to its unique composition. Made of three main layers — the Lava zirconia coping, fusion porcelain and glass ceramic material — Lava DVS is a one-of-a-kind restoration indicated for single-unit crowns.
